BioMat is a phisical barrier separates the crop from soil. It allows the radicles of germinating crop seeds to penetrate into the soil but stops the shoots of the germinating weed to emerge from beneath. Besides BioMat allows air, water and nutrients to pass through compare to traditional black plastic.

Laying BioMat
BioMat is laid on the prepared seedbeds and sand is directly spread on the top as an anchoring mechanism.
Seeding
Seeds are directly sown on the top of BioMat and the right amount of sand is used as a cover material.
Compacting
Seedbeds are compacted by drum roller to maximize the contact.
